The Cadaqués base will close at the end of July for cetacean-watching trips. After that, it will only be used for our research.

What time of year do we see cetaceans in Cadaqués?
All year round from Cadaqués, Costa Brava, on the Lacaze-Duthiers canyon in French territorial waters, we meet cetaceans, sperm whales, fin whales, pilot whales, Risso's dolphins, common bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins, beaked whales and minke whales and sometimes orcas, among others...
Many species of marine mammals live in the Lacaze-Duthiers submarine canyon ecosystem, where we conduct our research into cetacean communication.

Can I cancel my outing?
Yes, I can cancel my outing at any time by notifying us by e-mail. No fee will be charged for this cancellation and you will receive a full refund.

However, such cancellations are no longer possible from 72 h before the departure time of the expedition, except on presentation of a medical certificate issued by a doctor for the person cancelling the reservation, or in the event of force majeure, accident or other. Traffic jams are not a cause of force majeure.
