The Cadaqués base will be closed for cetacean-watching trips at the end of July. After that, it will be used exclusively for our research.

What time of year do you see cetaceans in Cadaqués?

All year round from Cadaqués, Costa Brava, on the Lacaze-Duthiers canyon in French territorial waters, we meet cetaceans, sperm whales, fin whales, pilot whales, Risso's dolphins, common bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins, beaked whales and minke whales and sometimes orcas, among others...
There are many species of marine mammals living in the ecosystem of the Lacaze-Duthiers submarine canyon, where we are conducting our research into cetacean communication.

From what age do we accept children?

Our sailing experience, our knowledge of the environment in which we sail and the type of boat we use, among other things, have led us to decide not to take children under the age of 3 on board, for the good of the child, the parents and the other passengers. Thank you for your understanding.

What happens if the outing is cancelled due to bad weather?

There is no need to contact us to ask whether the outing will be held due to bad weather. If we have to cancel, rest assured, you will be the first to be informed. If we have to cancel the outing because of bad weather, either the outing will be postponed to a date of your choice, or you will be refunded the full amount of your payment, at your convenience.
Can I cancel my outing?

Yes, I can cancel my outing at any time by notifying us by e-mail. No fee will be charged for this cancellation and you will receive a full refund.

However, this cancellation is no longer possible from 72 hours before the departure time of the expedition, except on presentation of a medical certificate issued by a doctor for the person cancelling the booking or in the event of force majeure, accident or other. Traffic jams are not a cause of force majeure.
