A word from Pierre

This base at Dana Point, the world capital of whale watching, was created in 1971.

You can spot grey whales, humpback whales, fin whales and minke whales. Dolphins include common dolphins, Pacific white-sided dolphins and bottlenose dolphins. Please note that there is no better time to see whales or dolphins, as they are around 24 hours a day!

Naturalist guides on board will share their knowledge and passion with you.

The Shelltone Whale Project's cetacean-watching charter is fully respected.
