The Shelltone team's opinion
The Guadeloupe base was the first we referenced.
In addition to the rich marine fauna of the leeward coast, with over 23 species of cetacean recorded, this base is located in the Agoa sanctuary, a French marine protected area, which guarantees a controlled number of vessels authorized to approach the animals, but also the need for our captains to have undergone very strict training in approaching cetaceans.
The cetacean enthusiasts selected by the Shelltone team in Guadeloupe have chosen the RESPECT.

You are welcomed on board to share passion for cetaceans and navigation at sea.
Every time out, the captain uses a hydrophone (underwater microphone) and deciphers the sounds heard in the sea: whale songs, sperm whale codas, dolphin and pilot whale whistles. These sounds, heard live, help him decide which way the boat should go to give himself the best possible navigation. the best chance of observing animals while respecting their behaviour during the meeting.
