The Shelltone Team’s Review
Located on Ireland’s west coast, the Dingle Peninsula faces the vast expanse of the North Atlantic. Shaped by ocean winds and currents, this region is home to a rich marine ecosystem that regularly attracts whales, dolphins, and seabirds.
The waters surrounding Dingle are frequented by humpback whales, minke whales, common dolphins, and bottlenose dolphins. The abundance of food resources along the coastline helps make this area an important habitat for a wide variety of marine species.
We selected this team for the quality of the experience they provide and the expertise of their team. Each trip is led by a skipper who is also a marine biologist, sharing expert knowledge about the animals encountered, their behavior, and the ecosystem they inhabit.
Beyond encounters with cetaceans, these outings offer the opportunity to discover one of the great maritime landscapes of the European Atlantic. A place where the ocean has long shaped the lives of both people and wildlife.
What We Particularly Appreciate Here
The feeling of standing before an Atlantic Ocean that remains powerful and untamed. A destination that reminds us that whales, dolphins, and people have long shared a common relationship with the sea.
