Located on Newfoundland’s eastern coast, Trinity offers one of the most spectacular whale watching experiences in the North Atlantic. Each spring and summer, the waters surrounding this region welcome the great whale migration, while icebergs drifting south from Greenland slowly make their way along the coastline.
Humpback whales, fin whales, sperm whales, and many other marine species frequent these nutrient-rich waters, creating unforgettable encounters in a landscape where the ocean, rugged cliffs, and ancient ice come together in extraordinary harmony.

Cetaceans are never approached at more than 5 knots.
Animals are always approached from an angle that follows their direction of travel, never by cutting across them.
Mothers with calves are never approached.
