Located on Baranof Island, in the heart of the Alexander Archipelago, Sitka offers privileged access to one of Alaska\u2019s richest coastal ecosystems. Between forest-covered mountains, sheltered bays, and the waters of the North Pacific, wildlife is present everywhere.<\/p>\n

Humpback whales regularly feed in these productive waters, but they are only one part of a much larger story. Sea otters, Steller sea lions, bald eagles, seabirds, brown bears, and many other species share this territory, where the ocean, the forest, and the mountains remain deeply connected.<\/p>\n

We selected this team for their small-group approach and their deep knowledge of the local marine environment. This experience gives visitors the time to observe wildlife, discover the coastal landscapes of Baranof Island, and gain a deeper understanding of the natural balance that defines this region of Alaska.<\/p>\n
